Whack-A-Mole Tutorial

Create a Whack-A-Mole game with Samsung ARTIK and Medium One

In the following tutorial, you will learn how to create your very own Whack-a-Mole game as seen in our booth at the Samsung Development Convention earlier in 2016.

The game essentially combines Samsung’s ARTIK modules and Medium One’s Data Intelligence Platform. The ARTIK modules are used as the game controller to collect data from players when sensors in the game are triggered. The data from these sensors is then collected, processed locally, and transmitted directly to the cloud. Medium One’s local and cloud analytics work simply together, processing large volumes of data securely and considering trends and big data to present the results in a user-friendly way.

Watch this video to learn how to integrate Samsung’s ARTIK modules and Medium One’s Data Intelligence Platform to create the same game or design a similar one!

See It in Action

Several players tested their skills in the game at the Samsung Development Convention (SDC) 2016 at the Medium One booth. By collecting the success rate and reaction time of each person, we were able to instantly analyze and display the results onto a simplified dashboard. To see attendees try our game out at SDC, watch this video.
